In actuality, it&#039;s quite unfair for you to draw parallels between the United States actions in Afghanistan and the Chinese military (in the form of supplied arms) and financial (in the form of transactions with the Sudanese) presence in Darfur. 

A boycott by the United States would only be effective were we to successfully convince a host of other major nations to withdraw their support--though Russia may be tough to convince!
